From A HERO..."Thank You"!

TO: OPERATION: MOMS Cookies Inc. Volunteers,

I am 1LT David XXXXXXX, Military Intelligence Officer and 17 year veteran of the Army....I am on of the lucky recipients of 6 of your boxes for distribution to my Troops.  I wanted to let you know that I truly appreciate your taking the time to let me know that you care.  Mail from home, (U.S.) is always a big deal to us soldiers and to get it from my neck of the woods makes it that much sweeter.  Furthermore, I find comfort in knowing that I come from a place where the people still take care of their own!  I have 3 children...who are back home in Illinois...very close to you, in Essex...Our land, horses and dogs keep my wife and the kids busy...
...I have visited many countries and I thank God every day for being an American and for the blessings we have living in the U.S....It really is the best country in the world!...
Thank you again for your gifts to the Troops!

Sincerely and with great appreciation,

David XXXXXXX, 1LT, MI

My name is Petty Officer Second Class Aviation Ordnanceman Dexter. I am currently stationed in.....and I just recieved my first care package since I've been here and it was from MOMS. I could find no better thing to do than to reply back to you and let you know that what you does not go unnoticed nor unappreciated. We can not do it with out your support and I am overly gracious for the packages that you sent to my camp. We are gonna tear these boxes apart!! Once again thank you thank you thank you for all that you do!!!
Very Respectfully,
XXXXXX Dexter XXXXXX
United States Navy

As Senator Gary Dahl noted, "Someone was watching over MOMS"... and MOMS Volunteers are still needing "oxygen", as Chauncey had predicted, as the many "angels" brought more than $28,000.00 to our Charity for its Mission, with overwhelming generosity by many for our
Military Men and Women serving overseas!
It was the hearts and hands of the Anglers...the Braidwood Generating Station Team of Site Communicator, Neal Miller, Site Vice President Amir Shahkarami and their awesome Exelon Volunteers, working with overwhelming caring and support for the Men and Women serving in the U.S. Armed Forces!
Exelon brings so very much to so very many in our communities with their Army of Volunteers...blessings abound with each work of giving!
We extend our GREAT APPRECIATION to each for their
OVERWHELMING generosity and works of heart in support of our Heroes, the Men & Woman who wear the Uniform of the U.S. Armed Forces!
THANK YOU so very, very much!
